Water Management in Haiti and the Choleral Epidemic

The CDC released a new report examining the spread of cholera in Haiti.  Based on field investigations of Renaud Piarroux and colleagues, the report suggests severe contamination of the Artibonite river coupled with poor water and sewage management triggered the rapid spread of the disease.
